Monopolar Electrosurgery Devices
Monopolar electrosurgery devices are medical instruments that use high-frequency electrical current to cut, coagulate (stop bleeding), desiccate, or fulgurate biological tissue during surgical procedures. In a monopolar system, electrical current flows from the active electrode through the patient's body to a return electrode (patient return pad) connected to an electrosurgical generator.
